Borders, the second largest bookstore in the United States has launched its online bookstore with more than 1.5 million titles. Borders plans to become a major player in the e-books market with this launch.
Borders is a late comer, unlike Apple (iBookstore), Amazon and Barnes and noble, who have already captured a considerable market share. But Borders says that the e-book market is at its initial stages and its arrival to the web is at the right time. It offers e readers for $150 and $120, which is lower compared to competitors. Borders also offer free copies of bestsellers to early birds. So what are you waiting for? Grab a title from Borders.
